Card Collector Conversion Instructions:

Version 6.x to Version 7.0

w 		1 You will first install "The Card Collector", version 7.0 on your computer.
2 Then you must copy your existing card collections (if any), that you now have in your 6.x version into the 7.0 version.
3 sample Your 6.x version card collection file folders will appear like this sample. --------------------------------->
4 However the card collection file name will be what you named it when you installed the 6.x version.
5 Card collection files end with the extension ( .ccc ) in both 6.x & 7.0 versions. (filename.ccc)
6 sample Computers will show the .ccc extension at the end of the card collection file name IF you have the explorer view set in the detail mode.
7 Your 6.x version card collection files are located in: C:\Program Files\APBA\The Card Collector 6.x, unless you changed the default installation location when you originally installed your 6.x version

l 		1 Let's begin first by Installing The Card Collector 7.0 Version
2 Insert The Card Collector 7.0 disk in your CDrom drive. It will automatically load. Follow the easy steps…..
We recommended that you install The Card Collector 7.0 program in it's default location.
In the future you will be able to download updates directly off of Thecardcollector.com internet site.
3 While installing The Card Collector 7.0 you will be prompted to name your new card collection.

Create an easy to remember collection name like " Dummy ".
Once you copy your existing 6.x card collection file in the 7.0 version you will no longer use the card collection name " Dummy", you then can delete it if you want.
4 After The Card Collector 7.0 program finishes loading ( close down the 7.0 program ).

Now you are ready to convert your 6.x version cards collection files to the 7.0 version.
